Which dlc should i get for fallout new vegas
My recommendation, play the game through first. It is dry as someone mentioned. I loved the follower stories. I hated the main story. The DLCs were taxing to me. And some people love Old World Blues but it was just okay for me. The thing with Dead Money is you are playing a completely different kind of game and you will either love that or hate that. It also sort of challenges Lonesome Road in terms being a more appropriate finisher DLC to the game alternate ending ho!
Lonesome Road — the last New Vegas DLC released, which you can find out more about here at Game Guide World — really gives you a lot of backstory to your player character, and is best played last of the DLC and close to the end of the main quest, so you have already got an understanding of who the courier you play is.
It is also better to play this DLC when you have chosen an allegiance, as things will shape up very differently for a Legion or NCR allied courier, or an independent one. As I've said before it's not far from being an expansion in some respects, at least it aims toward making the game better in a strong way. The story enriches the New Vegas world yet till it's own story compellingly. Dead Money is kind of buggy and can be a pain, but it is the most atmospheric DLC there is in my opion. I rank that number one just because I feel its the overall best.
Old World Blues was meh at best, boring story but a really nice player home that most all players use if they own since you get a teleporter gun to go there at the end wherever you are outside of vegas. Honest Hearts added some nice new guns but was way too short. Lonesome Road finally, had a good map and difficulty.
Just becayse HH ranks lowest doesn't mean it was bad at all. Because though playing multiplayer on console is great for immediately accessible player assembly, playing an RPG on console is futile. Coming from someone who put over hours on both PS3 and XBox Fallout gaming before ever trying it on PC, the difference is appauling, especially with the mouth watering mod support, jesus.
When you see that Ultra graphics setting at 60fps you will go bonkers. Originally posted by Figure. Dead money for sure, but watch out, whan u get bored DO NOT use console commands like tcl or moveto qt cause there are a LOT OF terminals that trigger future events you can't progress without.
