This one is brewed with puffed jasmine rice and clocks in a bit heavier than the Miller Lites of the world at 5. The two likely mainstays on the beer menu are both nicely dialed in: Unspoken Rule, a crisp, muscular, refreshing golden ale spiced with jasmine tea; and Chelonian, a dark wheat ale made with smoked malt and Sichuan peppercorns.

The service was excellent and the food was amazing. In Chicago. Bonus: We had one of the most congenial and knowledgeable servers. She understands that their burger is something very special and her description of the chef's process in developing the recipe had sold us immediately.
This place is a bit tucked away and is an absolute gem. We truly enjoyed the excellent food and experience and the European flair of a pub! The only disappointment was the extra chair for a tablespoon of additional dipping sauce. The burger is seriously the best in town. And definitely try the soft pretzel.
I was told their burger rivaled that of Au Cheval and though it was good, it didn't stand out. The fries were good. Go with the egg and the pretzel to start.
Can't go wrong with the steak or soft shell crab sandwich. Great place. Surprised how good it was, considering I go out to dinner a lot and haven't been there since it opened. Went for an early post theatre dinner. Their cocktails are finely crafted, nuanced and not at all sweet. They have quite the selection of bitters. One after the other our small plates came - some of them not so small - each unique and lovingly prepared from Scotch Egg to mussels.
We loved it and plan to return soon. We were celebrating a 31st birthday We had two vegetarians and two carnivores Superb food excellent options Wonderful server! Outstanding We will be back.
Delightful English-style pub. Wide range of reasonably priced craft beer and alcohol. Interesting food offerings. These guys all rock! We just love it here. Down to earth staff and a burger so amazing I can't try anything else. We can't pass up an opportunity to bring people here whenever we can! Their burger is, hands-down, my favorite in Chicago and they've always got an interesting beer list. Christina Slaton. Written by Sam Faye. Search by Perfect For. The Moonlighter The Moonlighter in Logan Square is a nice space for drinking, and has solid bar food like waffle fries, nachos, and burgers.
Good news, the burgers here are also great. Suggested by our writers. The Purple Pig Purple Pig has been around awhile, but it's still a great small plates restaurant that makes for a fun night.
